The Berwyn Fire Company was dispatched to the area of Castlehill Ln. and Waterloo Rd. in Easttown Township for an overturned vehicle with a subject trapped at 2:57 p.m.
Engine 2-2 arrived on location and reported a utility van on its side with a victim in need of extrication. The rescue crew from Engine 2-2 was able to remove the driver from the van shortly after arrival.
The extricated driver was transported by Berwyn EMS to a local trauma center with non-life threatening injuries. All units cleared the crash scene by 4:30 p.m. The Easttown Township Police Department is investigating the cause of the collision.
