BERWYN, PA - The Berwyn Fire Company capped off a busy Independence Day at the Tredyffrin Township concert and fireworks show last night. This event has grown significantly over the years drawing thousands of spectators from the region.
After attending community events earlier in the day and running several fire/EMS calls, volunteers and career staff provided staffing with Engine 2-1, Engine 2-3, Ambulance 2-2, Ambulance 2-3 and ATV 2. Assistant Chief 2, Battalion Chief 2 and EMS Captain 2 were also on hand to support the incident command system.
In addition to the Berwyn personnel and resources on scene, the Radnor Fire Company staged with Chief 15, TAC 15 and ATV 15 at the Parkview development in Chesterbrook, while the Paoli Fire Company staged with Deputy Chief 3 and Engine 3-5 at the Golf Galaxy on W. Swedesford Rd.
The Tredyffrin Township Police Department, along with police officers from various other municipalities provided traffic and crowd control throughout the event.
All fire/EMS units were able to clear the event by 11 p.m. |
