BERWYN, PA - As the workweek came to an end yesterday, Berwyn Fire Company volunteers and career staff responded to 14 calls in 17 hours. During this period, there were 5 overlapping call situations.
This included 9 calls in Tredyffrin Township, 3 calls in Easttown Township and 2 mutual aid responses assisting the Radnor Fire Company in Radnor Township.
EMTs and Paramedics handled several serious medical emergencies, along with firefighters dealing with a carbon monoxide investigation, residential fire alarm activation, smoke in a church and smoke in a townhouse.
