BERWYN, PA - The Berwyn Fire Company was dispatched at 9:15 a.m. to the intersection of Howellville Rd. and W. Swedesford Rd. in Tredyffrin Township for a motor vehicle collision.

Berwyn MICU 102 arrived with a two-vehicle crash blocking the intersection. As Berwyn Engine 2-2 arrived on scene, additional resources from Paoli Fire Company EMS and Malvern Fire Company EMS were requested due to several injured individuals.

A total of 4 patients were transported to Paoli Hospital between Berwyn, Paoli and Malvern ambulances.

Rescuers with Berwyn Engine 2-2 and Utility 2 assisted EMS with patient care and cleaned up debris from the roadway.

The Tredyffrin Township Police Department provided traffic control and investigated the cause of the collision.

All units were available and the intersection cleared by 10:30 a.m.
