We are sounding the alarm about critical Fire and EMS issues! |
Berwyn Fire Company is engaging the Tredyffrin-Easttown community about the importance of understanding who we are, how we operate, why we need increased paid staffing, and the reasons behind the Fire Company facing pressure with increasing expenses and declining financial reserves. |
As we continue to work diligently with Tredyffrin and Easttown Township Supervisors and Staff on a long-term sustainable funding solution, we need you to support our efforts. While Township financial support has increased over the years, so have the expenses associated with running a 24x7 emergency response organization. The best way to show support is to be educated on the issues and to become part of the solution. |
Berwyn Fire Company is holding short town-hall style meetings to discuss the current staffing and financial issues and how it directly affects our ability to provide essential Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Medical services to the community. We will provide insight into the work of our volunteers, paid staffing needs, working towards a national standard on response times, current and future fire station needs and overall pressures on the fire/EMS system. Questions and Answers will follow the short presentation. |
This is not a fund-raising event. These town-hall meetings are solely for the purpose of better informing our neighbors with regard to our specific needs and why it's so important to have these issues addressed in a proactive manner. We also want this to be a positive and informative experience for all attendees. |
Please come and join us at any one of the following dates below to learn how your support will help our organization continue to provide essential emergency services to the people who live, work and visit in the Tredyffrin-Easttown community. |
All meetings will be held at Berwyn Fire Company, 23 Bridge Avenue, Berwyn PA 19312. |
